Refresher Training Pricing Varies

starting at $45/night

  • Boarding Portion (taxable)

    $48.32/night

    Stays have a 2-3 night minimum required. Multiple dog household and extended stay discounts are available for this service.

  • Training Portion

    $35/training day

    Stays must include at least 3 training days, or at least 50% of their stay, whichever is greater (odd numbers rounded up).

    $467.49 - $607.49

    Depending on what skills you want us to work on, our availability, drop off/pick up times, and overall workload... the minimum requirement would be 4 days of training, and the maximum could potentially be up to 8 days of training.

    Just like when they came for their board & train program, your dog will receive guidance, treats, praise, and love every day they are with us.

  • Training Sessions

    On each training day, your dog will receive 1-2 formal sessions (about 1/2 hour). On non-training days (if there are any), we will continue to reinforce good manners.

  • Verbal Briefing

    Most RT stays end with a quick conversation about how your dog's stay went, what our recommendations are, and answering any questions.

  • Can I just bring my dog for Boarding-Only?

    We found ourselves always training every dog that stayed with us because we dislike the same behaviors you do... we correct jumping, mouthing, chasing, barking, destructive chewing, etc., and encourage good habits such as polite greetings, being calm and quiet in the house, and only chewing on toys and bones. All of this takes much more time/energy (it's pretty much 24/7 since they live with us), which results in a smaller capacity and premium service.

  • What if I started Boarding before 2015?

    For our loyal clients who started regularly Boarding-Only with us prior to June 1, 2015, we have grandfathered them into the discontinued service so that they can continue to board their dogs where they are most comfortable. If you're unsure about eligibility, please email us.

  • Are the costs of Refresher Training stays included in the cost of a Board & Train Program?

    No, because of its custom nature, Refresher Training (RT) is an additional service that is charged separately... however, in order to do any RT stays, each dog must first successfully complete a full B&T Program.

  • How much Refresher Training should we do?

    In order to keep your dog's skills sharp and continue to build on them, we typically recommend bringing them back for Refresher Training (aka, boarding that includes training for at least half of their stay) about 3-4x/year... this also helps us keep a pulse on what's going on in your dog's life so that we can help troubleshoot any issues that may pop up.

  • Can I add training to every day of their stay?

    As long as we have the availability to accommodate Refresher Training throughout your desired dates, we can include formal training sessions every day they're here in order to make the most of their stay.

  • What if I need more hands-on help?

    When requesting your Refresher Training Reservation, please consider if you need to schedule an additional Private Lesson on the last day of their stay.
